The following are general guideline for a good website ;

• Ability to download quickly e.g. in less than 30 seconds
• Ability to fit in a standard resolution say 1024 x 768 without scrolling
• The images should have alt tags
• The header should have the company’s name and logo
• The pages must have titles
• Fewer colours e.g. less than 3 per page
• Less animation e.g. a maximum of 2 per page
• Images that speak; it has been said that A Single Pixel Is Worth a Thousand Words, but here at London Top we believe images should only be used if they serve the purpose for which they are intended

• Maintainability; - The website should be easy to maintain
• Usability;- The website should be easy to use, we achieve this through user centred development 
• Quality; - People confuse aesthetic with quality. It could be aesthetic without being of high quality.
